Citywide Katrina Anniversary Interfaith Prayer Service

Time: 12 am to 12 am

Location: St. Louis Cathedral

Joined by Archbishop Gregory Aymond and other religious leaders, Rabbi Edward Cohn of Temple Sinai will be the principal speaker.

Prayers, music, and holy readings from each major faith tradition will offer an opportunity to bring our richly diverse communities together to remember , reflect, and rejoice in hope over our shared experience of Hurricane Katrina and the 10 years that have quickly passed.

Getting There

Bus transportation to and from Loyola University will be provided. The bus will leave the Mercy Hall parking lot at 6 p.m. and returns to campus by 9 p.m.

Very limited parking will be available at the former Cathedral Academy complex, 820 Dauphine St.

Dress

Loyola University community members are encouraged to wear maroon and gold to represent our continued presence and work in the resurrection of New Orleans
