IFC Fraternity Recruitment

Fall 2015 Fraternity Recruitment will take place Wednesday September 23 - Friday October 2, 2015. Fall Fraternity Recruitment allows interested men to meet members from the four social fraternities we have on campus. Loyola University New Orleans is currently home to two local fraternities and two national fraternities. Our two local fraternities that exist only at Loyola New Orleans are Beggars Fraternity and Sigma Alpha Kappa Fraternity. Our two national fraternities are Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity, and Pi Kappa Phi Faternity.

Hippocamp and the Delta

A show of drawings and photogenic drawings explore circulatory systems, landscape, and structures of the brain by Lee Deigaard.

A show of new paintings by Rachel Jones Deris.

A native of Antlers, Oklahoma, Rachel has worked and taught inNew Orleans since 2005. Rachel has shown extensively, with exhibitions in New Orleans, Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, Florida, Texas, Oklahoma, and Austria. In 2009 she was invited to mount a two-person exhibition at the New Orleans. Museum of Art. Her work is part of that museum’s permanent collection, as well as many other private collections. Rachel’s work has been reviewed in many national publications, including ArtForum, Art Papers, the New Orleans Art Review, and TimeOut Chicago.

MBA Open House

The MBA program at Loyola University New Orleans College of Business will host an upcoming open house and informational session. Come learn about two new programs introduced this past fall: Fast-Track 1 year MBA as well as our Part-time Professional MBA, allowing students to graduate with a specialization track. Recent graduates have obtained advanced professional appointments in such large national companies as General Electric, General Motors, Symetra, Shell and many others.

The open house will be held Tuesday September 29, at 5:45 p.m. in Miller Hall, Room 112 on Loyola’s main campus. Attendees can enjoy light refreshments followed by an information and question session with MBA faculty and staff. Registration for the open house is recommended but not required. Loyola’s MBA $50 application fee will be waived for any open house attendee.
