The Department of Theatre Arts and Dance wants to welcome you to our new teaching spaces on the 6th floor of Monroe Hall and back to Marquette Theatre for a look at the present and past of drama at Loyola New Orleans.

Act I: Saturday, October 31st starts the celebration with an Open House Wine and Cheese Reception at 11:30 a.m. on the 6th floor of Monroe Hall.  Come explore our new costume studio, 2 new performance studios, new departmental offices and a new design teaching suite with light lab and computer room.

Act II: At 2:00 p.m. the alumni special matinee performance of “The Ladies Man” by Charles Morey, Translated and Adapted from Tailleur Pour Dames by Georges Feydeau, and directed by Janet Shea in Marquette Theatre.A hilariously zany ride of mistaken identities, near misses and wild coincidences.  A joyously racy and infectiously charming farce. Ben Brantley of the N.Y. Times. 
You must register to be guaranteed a ticket(s) as a Department guest.

Following the performance there will be an alumni cast photograph and then an alumni and student cast photo on the Marquette stage!

Intermission:  Alumni on their own for a New Orleans Halloween evening.

Curtain Call:  Sunday, November 1st at 11:30 a.m. "Theater Reunion Brunch" a catered brunch in the theatre arts department's new space at Monroe Hall 6th floor! What would a New Orleans brunch be without Blood Mary’s and Mimosas?
