Boot Camp

Time: 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm

Contact: Megan Byas · mebyas@loyno.edu · 5048653622

Location: University Sports Complex/ Freret St. Parking Garage, Main Campus

Get in shape “boot camp” style! Experience high-intensity, full-body workouts that target the major muscle groups of the upper & lower body, specifically designed to “make it rain” sweat! From circuit-style routines that jump-start cardio fitness, to creative muscle-toning exercises using dumbbells, exercise bands, or even the participant’s body weight, each class brings its own unique challenges. No two classes are the same! Students will work the quarter to improve cardiovascular stamina, core strength, & flexibility.

Aqua Zumba

Time: 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm

Contact: Megan Byas · mebyas@loyno.edu · 5048653622

Location: University Sports Complex/ Freret St. Parking Garage, Main Campus

We're bringing the party to the pool! Salsa, Merengue, Reggaeton, Soca and Cumbia all done in the water.

Have you wanted to try a dance workout like Zumba but were shy of how you might look or think you can't dance? Maybe you just don't know where to start your fitness journey or have been out of it for a while due to health issues.

This class is for you:

You’ll be using the properties of the water to whip yourself back into shape while having the most fun. (And no need to feel funny no mirrors here and body is partially submerged)

So what are you waiting for, Pull back out that bathing suit and see you in the shallow pool!
