Boot Camp

Get in shape “boot camp” style! Experience high-intensity, full-body workouts that target the major muscle groups of the upper & lower body, specifically designed to “make it rain” sweat! From circuit-style routines that jump-start cardio fitness, to creative muscle-toning exercises using dumbbells, exercise bands, or even the participant’s body weight, each class brings its own unique challenges. No two classes are the same! Students will work the quarter to improve cardiovascular stamina, core strength, & flexibility.

UCC Anxiety Group: Progressive Muscle Relaxation and Meditation

Time: 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm

Take time out of your busy day to truly relax for an hour! A trained counselor will lead you through calming guided imagery and progressive muscle relaxation. You will also learn how to do this on your own. At the end of this session, you should feel relaxed, focused and ready to face your challenges.

We're bringing the party to the pool! Salsa, Merengue, Reggaeton, Soca and Cumbia all done in the water. 

Have you wanted to try a dance workout like Zumba but were shy of how you might look or think you can't dance? Maybe you just don't know where to start your fitness journey or have been out of it for a while due to health issues.

This class is for you:

You’ll be using the properties of the water to whip yourself back into shape while having the most fun. (And no need to feel funny no mirrors here and body is partially submerged)

So what are you waiting for, Pull back out that bathing suit and see you in the shallow pool!

MBA Open House

The MBA program at Loyola University New Orleans College of Business will host an upcoming open house and informational session. Come learn about two new programs introduced this past fall: Fast-Track 1 year MBA as well as our Part-time Professional MBA, allowing students to graduate with a specialization track. Recent graduates have obtained advanced professional appointments in such large national companies as General Electric, General Motors, Symetra, Shell and many others.

The open house will be held Tuesday February 16, in Miller Hall, Room 112 on Loyola’s main campus. Attendees can enjoy light refreshments followed by an information and question session with MBA faculty and staff. Registration for the open house is recommended but not required. Loyola’s MBA $50 application fee will be waived for any open house attendee.

Panhellenic Sorority Recruitment Information Session

The Panhellenic Association, the governing body for the four Panhellenic sororities on campus, will be hosting a Sorority Information Session on February 16th at 7:00pm in the Audubon Room

This information session will introduce potential members to sorority life on campus and will cover the following:

  • How to Join a Sorority
  • The Benefits of Joining a Sorority
