Employ the Pack is back! For the 4th year running, the Loyola University New Orleans Career Development Center is excited to announce that it will be hosting its 4th Annual employment boot camp, Employ the Pack: A Conference for Emerging Professionals. Designed to provide up-to-the minute strategies and aid to students and alumni navigating the current job market, Employ the Pack has celebrated three straight years of sensational programming.

This year, the Career Development Center is especially excited to announce that Loyola University alumnus Will Donaldson will serve as keynote speaker for the Saturday, April 2 conference.  Will Donaldson is an entrepreneur and real estate developer with interests in hospitality, food & beverage, office, and residential real estate. He is a co-founder of Launch Pad in New Orleans’ CBD, which has been home to multiple venture-backed startups. It has been featured Entrepreneur Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, and the New York Times, among many other publications.

 The half-day, professional-caliber employment strategies conference is available to current students and young Loyola alumni for free. Featuring innovative breakout sessions which address current job-market needs, as well as one-on-one face time with dynamic industry leaders and employment experts, the conference is set for the St. Charles Room in the Danna Student Center on Loyola’s main campus. EMPLOY the PACK:  A Conference for Emerging Professionals will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Wellness Bike Excursion

Time: 11 am to 12 pm

Location: University Sports Complex/ Freret St. Parking Garage, Main Campus

Experience the city by participating in this Wellness Bike Ride Excursion.  Take a minute to get off campus for a while and embark on this healthy and relaxing journey featuring a ride down St. Charles Avenue, through Audubon Park, and down the levee. Included will be a midway break with meditation in order to take a breath, relax, and unwind briefly before returning to campus. Hope to see you all there and remember to get fit! Softball League

Time: 12 pm to 1 pm

The Softball league begins today, with games played at Evan's Field (just off Freret behind Dat Dog) from 1:00pm - 6:00pm. Participating teams should already be registered on IMLeagues.com, and must have attended the captains meeting. Individuals still looking to join a team are encouraged to sign up as a free agent, contact captains directly (emails and phone numbers are listed on website), or show up on game days and talk with teams.
