Get in shape “boot camp” style! Experience high-intensity, full-body workouts that target the major muscle groups of the upper & lower body, specifically designed to “make it rain” sweat! From circuit-style routines that jump-start cardio fitness, to creative muscle-toning exercises using dumbbells, exercise bands, or even the participant’s body weight, each class brings its own unique challenges. No two classes are the same! Students will work the quarter to improve cardiovascular stamina, core strength, & flexibility.
Stress less at Fresh Fest. The Department of Student Involvement and First Year Council are excited to present our inaugural FRESH FEST! This event will take place on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 12:30pm in the Peace Quad (rain location: University Sports Complex). The event will feature live music from DJ Toine Boy, lawn games, free food, and a special appearance from comedian and actor, Adam Devine.
The First Year Council is also excited to announce that they will be giving out free movie passes for a screening of Adam's new film, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates. The screening will take place on Monday, April 25, 2016 at 7:00pm at the AMC Elmwood theater. Passes will be available beginning on Monday for the first 150 students to come to the FYC table in the Danna Student Center between 11:30am - 2:00pm. Transportation will be provided form the Carrollton Turnaround leaving at 6:30pm for the screening.

The MBA program at Loyola University New Orleans College of Business will host an upcoming open house and informational session. Come learn about two new programs introduced this past fall: Fast-Track 1 year MBA as well as our Part-time Professional MBA, allowing students to graduate with a specialization track. Recent graduates have obtained advanced professional appointments in such large national companies as General Electric, General Motors, Symetra, Shell and many others.
The open house will be held Tuesday April 26, in Miller Hall, Room 112 on Loyola’s main campus. Attendees can enjoy light refreshments followed by an information and question session with MBA faculty and staff. Registration for the open house is recommended but not required. Loyola’s MBA $50 application fee will be waived for any open house attendee.

Tuesday, April 26th Annual Spring Frog Walk – Join Dr. Bob Thomas on a night adventure walk in Jean Lafitte National Park. Come to hear and see dozens of species of frogs and toads. Learn how to identify frogs just by their vocalization, and see alligators’ glowing red eyes. Reserve your spot now. Walkers are guaranteed to see all sorts of nocturnal critters.
