The one area of law that all clients will need advice at some point in their lives is Estate Planning.  Whether it is their own estate planning, a family member’s needs, or a friend of a friend is terminal and they need to know what to do.  It can be a frightening topic for many clients, but your job as their “counsellor” is to put their minds at ease and make it as easy as possible to understand. This course will provide you with the basic knowledge of estate planning, including drafting wills and basic trusts.  We will also discuss how to help clients through the legalities of planning for their own death or the death of a loved one.
