Emmaus Retreat

Location: Fontainebleau State Park, Mandeville LA

The Emmaus Retreat offers a contemplative experience for undergraduate students. This retreat encourages participants to quiet themselves and find God in the silence of their hearts. Participants spend an entire day in silence, praying with various contemplative forms of prayer such as Ignatian contemplation, Taize prayer, and a labryinth.

Every semester, we undergraduate faculty to provide feedback about attendance and academic difficulties through Early Warning. Early Warning for the Spring 2017 semester will run from  Monday, Jan. 30 through Sunday, Feb. 12. Notes are submitted and reviewed on LORA. 

Early warning only applies to undergraduate courses.

Loyola Performs the Great American Songbook, Part II

After popular request, Loyola's School of Music faculty return for an evening of popular standards from the 1920's to the 1960's. Performances from masters such as George and Ira Gershwin, Rogers and Hammerstein, Cole Porter, and Nat King Cole will be topped off by a special musical montage honoring New Orleans' own Allen Toussaint.

Ticketing: $10 General Admission, $5 Non-Loyola students and Seniors (ages 65+), Free for Loyola Students/Faculty/Staff with I.D
