Émilie Lamy received her M.A. in Cultural Management from Université Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne in 2006. She has ten years of professional experiences in the field of graphic design and publishing, during which she worked for several publishing houses and non-profit organizations (Pyramyd Editions, International Poster and Graphic Design Festival of Chaumont, Marseille European Capital of Culture 2013, Fotokino...) She taught Graphic Design and Visual Research at the École de Communication Visuelle in Paris and Aix-en-Provence. After moving to New Orleans in February 2014, she opened The Stacks in October 2014.
