The Mardi Gras Career Expo will be held on Friday February 22nd from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.  Over 60 employers from across the country attend and most are looking to recruit ALL MAJORS AND YEARS for job and internship opportunities nationally!  Employers who regularly register include:

Free Shuttle Service To and From the Expo

The FREE shuttle will pick up from Freret/McAlister between Loyola and Tulane in front of the Rec Plex on the Loyola side or Navy ROTC Building on the Tulane side. The first shuttle will depart Uptown for the Superdome at 11:30 and subsequent shuttles will depart at 12:30, 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30. Returning shuttles will leave the Superdome to head back Uptown roughly every hour on the hour (12, 1, 2, 3, 4, and a final departure at 4:30).

Do you think interviewing a client is simply asking a series of questions? Come learn how to prepare for a client interview through relationship-centered lawyering. You will leave the course more confident about your ability to skillfully prepare and effectively interview a client. Students will engage in a simulation based on a case related to social justice lawyering. Learn the “art of interviewing” specifically how to ask questions that build trust, solicit information, or reflect confidence and authority on the subject matter. 

*Note: This course satisfies skills competency requirement (1) Client Interviewing.‚Äč


Student Exhibition: Hive Mind

A combined effort between the current and the graduated, Hive Mind is a collaborative project for the Loyola University New Orleans alumni show. The artwork shown in the gallery is all created by Loyola University alumni and this year, curated by current students themselves as they learn the ins and outs of the curatorial arts. The students did much of the work themselves, from beginning to end, in Prof. Lee Deigaard’s “Curating: History and Practice.”
