Sarah Allison (English) will present on the experience of time in trauma recovery and the time travel movie. She asks what this cultural form, often characterized by its attention to alternate pasts, presents, and futures but also by a self-conscious, comic mode (think Hot Tub Time Machine) can help us see about the temporal disruptions associated with the aftermath of trauma.
