Grief and bereavement are more common in the life of young adults than many people realize; however, it remains a struggle for ministry leaders and communities to provide pastoral care to younger generations in response to these realities. When faced with major crisis moments, such as the COVID-19 pandemic or losses from other illnesses, accidents, or tragic circumstances, how do we minister and provide support for those who are grieving and hurt? Panelists will focus on the key issues affecting young adults, the spiritual dimension to this work, and some concrete strategies to move forward:
Diana Hancharenko (National Chair, NATYAM) and Darius A. Villalobos (National Staff, NFCYM) will moderate this dialogue.
