On Thursdays in June through August, WLAE-TV will air an episode of As I Have Done and Sisterhood, video series produced through a collaborative effort of Salt+Light TV and the Loyola Institute for Ministry (LIM).
As I Have Done episodes 2 and 3 airson June 18 and 25. The series explores Catholic sisters in East Africa connecting Catholic Social Teaching and sustainability. Sisterhood airs July 9–August 20. It features women religious in seven congregations around the world and explores each congregation’s mission, ministry, communities, and charisms. Six of the congregations have a presence in New Orleans: the Congregation of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, Congregation of St. Joseph Sisters, Daughters of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary of Chi Hoa, Holy Family Sisters, Religious of the Sacred Heart, Sacred Heart Sisters of Benin City, Nigeria.
Loyola University New Orleans Loyola President Tania Tetlow will introduce the series.
