Loyola University New Orleans will celebrate Pope Francis' first visit to the United States with a panel discussion on the pope's encyclical on the environment, Laudato Si. 

Speakers will include:

• Political Scientist and Honors Alumnus Chris Wiseman, Ph.D.
• Environmental Biologist and Mass Communication Professor Bob Thomas, Ph.D.
• Environmental Biology Professor Aimee Thomas, Ph.D.
• Vice President for Mission & Ministry John Sebastian; and
• Moderator Naomi Yavneh Klos, director of the university honors program
