Environmental Roundtable: Town Hall for all ENVA students

Environmental Roundtables are facilitated discussions of important environmental issues, hosted by the Loyola University Environment Program. Facilitators include Environment Program students, faculty and guest hosts.

Town Hall for all ENVA students - Meet the new Director of the Environment Program and Capstone Discussion.  Come prepared to brainstorm ideas for growing the program. Also, come prepared to learn about the Capstone experience.

 

Rediscovering Culture through Textiles: Indigenous Bolivian Perspectives

Professor Salmón will speak about how Elvira Espejo, an indigenous Aymara woman weaver, rediscovers notions of her Andean past by doing research on the production of weavings, a discovery that can reawaken our own forgotten relationship with nature.
