Gillis Long Poverty Law Center: Fall Internship Deadline

General Information: 

The Gillis Long Poverty Law Center is excited to announce the expansion of its internship program! Upperclass students may now apply for fall placements. The Fall Internship Program provides opportunities for upperclass students to work as interns in legal services offices. Paid interns gain invaluable legal experience and skills while assisting the indigent in the community.

Fall Program:

The Gillis Long Poverty Law Center is now accepting applications for the Fall Internship Program. Interested students should submit a cover letter and résumé on Symplicity, job posting #2115. After the application deadline on August 28, 2016, the Gillis Long Poverty Law Center will forward the applications to participating offices in New Orleans. In the following weeks, offices will contact students directly for interviews or job offers. Interns will work 15 hours per week for eight consecutive weeks, earning $2,000.00.

All About That Bass- A Celebration of John Reeks' 25th Anniversary of Teaching at Loyola

A concert of unusual and entertaining music for the Bass Clarinet, featuring John Reeks, Bass Clarinetist for the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra since its inception. John is a Loyola alum and has been Clarinet Instructor for the School of Music for 25 years.

Free and open to the public.
