Environmental Roundtable :“Loyola’s Green Glass Door: A Step into the Sustainable Future”

Environmental Roundtables are facilitated discussions of important environmental issues, hosted by the Loyola University Environment Program. Facilitators include Environment Program students, faculty and guest hosts.

Dr. Eric Hardy and four Loyola students (Max Boyce, Adrienne Ingram, Anthony Rizzi, and Brigid Richwine) from the Environment Program attended this year’s Loyola University Chicago Climate Change Conference. They will be having a panel discussion, and inviting the audience to participate, in finding “Loyola’s Green Glass Door: A Step into the Sustainable Future.”

The current political situation in this nation is a scary one. You might want to buy a one-way ticket to New Zealand. But when you are sitting in a room full of scientists, activists, and students talking about solutions to environmental issues, an immense feeling of hope floods the room. Returning from Loyola Chicago’s Climate Change Conference, new ideas, new networks, and new doors unlocked which will set Loyola New Orleans center stage for this incredible movement. There are 28 Jesuit institutions in this nation and degrees in every field, only unity can create change. Join the discussion, take the next step, and be part of the growing change.
