Time: 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm

Contact: Sybol Anderson · scanders@loyno.edu · (504) 865-2306

Location: Whitney Presentation Room, Thomas Hall

Professor Salmón will speak about how Elvira Espejo, an indigenous Aymara woman weaver, rediscovers notions of her Andean past by doing research on the production of weavings, a discovery that can reawaken our own forgotten relationship with nature.
