ACS Criminal Justice Election Forum

A panel discussion focusing on criminal justice issues in New Orleans' upcoming municipal
election. Speakers from the legal community will discuss the current state of the criminal
justice system in the city and what questions constituents should be asking of their mayoral,
judicial, and city council candidates. The event is sponsored by Loyola's chapter of the
American Constitution Society. We are hoping to cross-promote or co-sponsor the event with
the chapters of the National Lawyer's Guild and the Criminal Law Society.

A community project to assist in cleaning up the gardens and receive a tour and lecture from David Young, the organization founder. Capstone Community Gardens uses community gardens to teach the lower ninth ward about cultivating and maintaining their own gardens.
