City of a Million Dreams: Screening and Panel Discussion

The Loyola Institute for Ministry is proud to host a screening of Jason Berry's City of a Million Dreams, an acclaimed documentary that explores New Orleans' jazz funerals and second lines. A panel discussion will follow the screening. Panelists include Jason Berry (director, producer, writer), Simonette Berry (co-producer, writer), Monique Moss (Congo Square creative director), Tim Watson (editor and co-producer), and Dr. Michael White (narrator, composer).

  • – Free parking on campus in the West Road garage from 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
  • – Nunemaker Auditorium is located on the third floor of the Monroe Science Complex (directly behind the Communications/Music Complex)

COVID-19 Policy

Those who attend the film screening on-campus in Nunemaker Hall must follow all City of New Orleans and university requirements. Currently, that means wearing a mask and, if 12 years of age or older, providing proof of at least one dose of an approved COVID vaccine or negative PCR test within 72 hours of the event.
