O'Connor Method Teacher Training

Teacher Training with Grammy Award Winner Mark O'Connor

Instruments: Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass | Ages 15 - Adult  

Available to all players who wish to explore the possibilities of teaching string instruments using the O’Connor Method materials. Training includes a thorough look at all teaching points in the progression of the fundamental level. Orchestra Books I & II are also covered. Teachers already certified in the O'Connor Method Books I & II that want to explore the materials in these books further and meet other certified teachers with Mr. O'Connor hosting are encouraged to enroll.

Revel in an afternoon of popular standards, jazz staples, and Broadway hits from the 1920s to the 1960s. This special performance by faculty of Loyola's School of Music will interpret timeless treasures from masters such as Gershwin, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Cole Porter, Ella Fitzgerald and many others!

This concert will feature Luretta Bybee, Betsy Uschkrat, Elizabeth Floyd, Tyler Smith, John Rankin, Ed Wise, and Jesse Reeks.
