Sophia Lin Lakin is a staff attorney with the ACLU’s Voting Rights Project. "Sophia is actively litigating voting rights cases across the country and is involved in challenges to discriminatory voter identification and registration requirements, cutbacks to early voting and same-day registration, the dilution of minority votes in local elections, and other barriers to voting and discriminatory voting practices and procedures. Currently, Sophia has active cases in Kansas, Wisconsin, North Carolina, and Ferguson, Missouri."
