The Department of Psychological Sciences presents Dr. Candice Alfano

Title - Sleep 101: From Trees to Dorm Rooms

Description -  Humans spend 1/3 of their lives doing one behavior – sleeping. Research has greatly advanced our understanding of sleep in recent decades, but much remains to be learned. This talk will provide students with scientific insights into three basic questions: 1) Why do we sleep?; 2) What goes wrong with sleep?; and 3) What happens when we don't get enough sleep?
