Lean In: Women, Work and the Will to Lead – Let’s get started!

Sheryl Sandberg, Chief Operating Officer of FaceBook, sparked a massive cultural phenomenon in 2013 with the publication of her bestseller, Lean In: Women, Work and the Will to Lead. The title became an instant catchphrase for empowering women.

The book ignited an international conversation about women, ambition and gender bias, and inspired the creation of over 35,000 Lean In Circles (small peer-led support groups) in 160 countries and counting. Today, the Lean In community has over 1.5 million members and is adding almost 100 Circles each week. And the Circles are effective.

Eighty-five percent of members credit their Circle with positive changes in their lives. Women are hungry for the information, encouragement, support and motivation Lean In Circles provide. We need more women to step up and start Circles of their own, especially in places (like Louisiana) where gender stereotypes are so thoroughly entrenched. It’s easy. It’s powerful. It is incredibly rewarding. Come learn more!
