Unpacking Rape Culture
Student Forum, Take Back the Night Auxiliary Event

Student leaders on the panel will discuss the prevalence of rape culture in the modern era and how we might work together to raise awareness, to change the culture, and to diminish sexual assault. Panelists include leaders of gender organizations, the Women’s Resource Center, and Alpha Chi Omega, all of which work to reduce gender violence. After the moderated portion of the panel, the audience will be invited to engage in the dialogue. Title IX Deputy and Chief Conduct Officer Diana Ward, Director of the Women’s Resource Center, Patricia Boyett, and Social Work Intern and Survivor Support Services Coordinator Laura Dickerson will be present to answer any questions about processes, programming, and resources.
