Lecture on Martin Luther and St. Ignatius Loyola

The Rev. Dr. Philip Krey will explore the links between Martin Luther
and St. Ignatius Loyola in his talk entitled "Luther's Spiritual
Exercises," A Lecture in Commemoration of the Reformation's 500th
Anniversary.

Dr. Krey is an engaging speaker and accomplished scholar, co-author
most recently of "The Catholic Luther: His Early Writings" (Paulist,
2016). He is President Emeritus and Professor of Church History
Emeritus of the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Philadelphia.

This event is sponsored by Loyola in collaboration with the
Archdiocese of New Orleans and the Bayou Ministerium of the
Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.  Co-sponsors include Loyola's Office of Mission and Ministry, University Honors Program, Department of History, Department of
