Loyola Week: The Light of Faith Encounter Sessions

Location: Ignatius Chapel, 1st Floor, Bobet Hall

A free, public discussion will explore Pope Francis’ outlook on how faith is a light that illuminates all aspects of our lives. Three panelists will explore different areas of the pope's encyclical as they relate to the New Evangelization, and will answer questions from the audience. All attendees will receive a free CD set audio recording of the encyclical.

Presenters include:

- Fr. James Wehner, rector/president of Notre Dame Seminary and author of “The Evangelization Equation;”

- Daniella Zsupan-Jerome, Ph.D., Loyola assistant professor of liturgy and evangelization; and

- Todd Amick, director of the Office of Evangelization and Eucharistic Renewal for the Archdiocese of New Orleans. 

The event is followed by a mass in the Ignatius Chapel at 9 p.m.
