Earth Day Celebration Wednesday April 22—please join us for a LASS-SGA Carnival from 3-5 PM on Res Quad (rain location St. Charles Room) with games, food and a great giveaway followed by an Environment Program Panel  from 5-6 PM (dessert included) entitled:

Where do we go from here? Earth Day Performances and Environment Faculty Reflections.  
Panelists include:
"Earth Day: A Movement and it's Legacy" Dr. Eric Hardy
"Sustainability:  What is happening at Loyola?" Dr. Bob Thomas
"What we know, can do, and Care about Matters"  Dr. Craig Hood
“Greening the Real: The Process of Valuing Ourselves and Our Relations to Other Species” Dr. Francis Coolidge
"Connecting Catholic Social Principles to Environmental Responsibility” Co-Presentation with Environmental Studies Senior, Ocean Diamond and Dr. Anne Daniell.
Student readings: a reading from Alice Walker's "The Color Purple" by Idella Johnson and Jessica Williams, and from Susan Griffin's "Woman and Nature" by Regina Reyes and Alina Gordillo.
