The death penalty is one of the great moral issues facing our country, yet most people rarely think about it and very few of us take the time to delve deeply enough into this issue to be able to make an informed decision about it.  Sr. Helen Prejean, founder of Ministry Against the Death Penalty and author of Dead Man Walking, passionately shares her own experience and witness about the death penalty and our shared responsibility as faithful citizens to be prophets of justice.

This lecture is part of the 40th Anniversary Celebration of LUCAP (Loyola University Community Action Program) and sponsored by the Office of Mission and Ministry, Office of the University Chaplain and Alumni Relations.
