The theory of the case is the central organizing principle that drives any litigation by combing facts,reasons, and arguments to furnish the basic position from which one determines every action in the trial.This course teaches students to develop a persuasive defense theory in criminal cases and how to utilizethat theory effectively throughout the life of the case. The instructor will use exercises and examples fromreal criminal cases to teach valuable skills applicable to civil litigation and criminal prosecution as well.
