The spirits of Gertrude Stein and Pablo Picasso, who both survived World War II in France, indulge in competitive sparring over art, politics, and their own legacies. The appearance of a third spirit, a nameless young Jewish woman who died in the Holocaust, cuts through the pretense with a searingly authentic wartime experience.
Presented by Loyola Opera Theatre and the National Opera Association.
