The Jewish metaphysical system, Kabbalah, has been enjoying a vogue since the post-war period. This interest and influence may have peaked, however, as other forms of Jewish spirituality come to the fore in the new century, as a result of some of the strengths and deficiencies of the kabbalistic world-view. Dr. Giller will address these aspects of Kabbalah and cautiously predict the traditions and values which may yet take its place in the next generation.
