n the Year of Mercy proclaimed by Pope Francis, the University Chaplain is hosting our first Lenten Prayer Breakfast on Monday, February 15, the first Monday morning of Lent. Alumni in the New Orleans area are invited to join the Loyola community.

The buffet breakfast will feature a Lenten homily by Ansel Augustine '00, M.P.S '02, the Director of the Office of Black Catholic Ministries and Loyola New Orleans alumnus. It will be a joyful and prayerful way to begin the Lenten season.
There is no charge to attend but we are asking alumni to register in advance by contacting the Office of Alumni Engagement or via the link here.

Join us for our first Lenten Series lecture by Fr. Fred Kammer, SJ, who will present "Joy of the Gospel" on Wednesday, February 17. Fr Kammer is the Director of the Jesuit Social Research Institute (JSRI). Refreshments will be provided.
