Join us as we gather together to celebrate the Centennial anniversary of Loyola University New Orleans in one of the most exclusive venues in Los Angeles, The Jonathan Club

The Jonathan Club:
•  Initially established as a political group in 1894 the Jonathan club was chartered as a purely social club by the State of California in September 1895.
•  Many notable Club members (also known as Jonathans) have shaped the destiny of Southern California, their leadership and innovations reverberate today.
•  Jonathan Edward Dickson and Ernest More are said to have conceived the idea of UCLA (the University of California, Los Angeles) over lunch at the club in the fall of 1917. 
•  An oasis of serenity in downtown Los Angeles, one would be hard pressed to find a social club more integral to the city.

Screening of The Loyola Centennial Documentary

ACCOMMODATIONS:
For those traveling to attend from outside of the Los Angeles area a limited number of rooms will be available for overnight guests at The Jonathan Club.  Additional information to follow.

DRESS CODE:
In times of increasing informality, the Dress Code promotes and environment essential to any organization distinguished by the strength of its traditions. 
The Standards of Excellence:
•  Traditional business attire is required on the third floor.
•  Business Casual attire is required throughout the entire Club.
•  Athletic attire is required on the fifth floor.

DIRECTIONS AND PARKING:
From the Southbound 110/Harbor Freeway
•  Exit at Wilshire Boulevard
•  Turn left at the end of the ramp onto Wilshire Boulevard
•  Travel one block east
•  Turn left on Figueroa Street
•  Stay in the left lane for one block
•    The club’s front door will be on the left

From the Northbound 110/Harbor Freeway:
•  Exit 9th Street
•  Turn left at the second light, Figueroa Street
•  Travel four blocks north to the Club’s entrance
