Innovative teaching in large classes is always a challenge. Dr. Elizabeth Yost-Hammer, director of the Center for the Advancement of Teaching (and a former professor in Loyola's Psychology Department) will share strategies for enhancing learning in large classes. These pedagogies include "flipping the classroom" and other active learning techniques.
Wine and hors d'oeuvres will be served.
