Title of Talk: Planning & Designing Stormwater in NOLA
 

Ramiro Diaz is an architectural designer, planner, and photographer employed at Waggonner & Ball Architects since 2004. Waggonner & Ball believes in designing for resilience living with waterTM and building with nature. Diaz is responsible for the production and manipulation of cartography graphics using GIS software and has played a key role in the Dutch Dialogues and the Greater New Orleans Urban Water Plan. Diaz is currently the President of the Board for Groundwork New Orleans, a non-profit that implements sustainable stormwater best management practices and trains high school students to be stewards of the environment in partnership with the EPA Brownfields Program and National Park Service. Come join us for an informative and interesting roundtable about using design for stormwater and city planning.
