2013 Loyola Student Peace Conference

The conference will explore the multifaceted meanings of peace and conflict from a variety of perspectives at the annual student conference organized and managed by students.  In addition to student panel presentations, Peace Week will also present a staged reading of The Demolition of the Eiffel Tower, an international dance and music performances, a projection of Vagina Monologues, a week-long origami project, a film screening of Ardeshir Mohasses: The Rebellious Artist with Director Bahman Maghsoudlou and an outdoor concert by Loyola musicians.

This year's Student Peace Conference is made possible by participation and support of the University Honors Program, College of Humanities and Natural Sciences, the Women's Resource Center, the Department of Theater Arts and Dance, the College of Music and Fine Arts, the Student Advocates for Gender Equality (SAGE), the Loyola Society for Civic Engagement (LSCE), AIGA, Affirmative Action and Diversity Committee, Signa Alpha Kappa, Office of Student Affairs, the Department of History, the Center for Latin American and Carribean Studies, University Mission and Ministry and the Middle East Peace Studies Program.
