Developing the Impact Economy: Using Capitalism as a Force for Good in New Orleans 

Come hear Liz Shephard, CEO of LifeCity speak about the growing Impact Economy in New Orleans and how our economy can be used as a force for good. Thursday, March 8th at 12:30 pm in Monroe Hall 610. Lunch will be provide!

Liz Shephard is the CEO of LifeCity, LLC, a local consulting and software company that makes social and environmental impact profitable for business.  In May, LifeCity won the SBA's state-wide Sustainable Business Champion Award and Liz was also recognized as one of the Top 50 Business Women of the year in 2015 in New Orleans (CityBusiness).  Trained as an energy rater, water policy analyst, LEED Green Associate, and facilitator, Liz and her company help businesses in New Orleans maximize impact while growing profits.  She serves as Chair for the City Council's Environmental Advisory Committee, which recommends policies to improve sustainable infrastructure through the Department of Sanitation and Public Works.
