In the event of rain, the fair will be held in the St. Charles room.
Kumbuka, an African drum and dance collective based in New Orleans, will perform live at the Country Fair. Kumbuka is known for their vibrant, colorful and percussive movements that make evident the connection between Africa, Haiti and New Orleans. They are dedicated to the preservation, presentation, documentation and research of traditional African and African-American folklore and their repertoire consists of dances from Senegal, Guinea, Ghana, Mali, Nigeria, Congo, Kenya, South Africa, Haiti and New Orleans.
