A Night In Brazil: The Music of Antonio Carlos Jobim

Loyola University’s Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies, College of Humanities and Natural Sciences, and Department of Music Industry Studies invite you to a night of Bossa Nova music by Latin American Studies Senior Shoshana Shattenkirk (piano and vocals), and featuring Bryce Eastwood (saxophone), Sean Wallace (guitar), Stephan Bohnstengel (bass), and Joel Zobrist drums).

While you may not have heard of Antonio Carlos Jobim, you have certainly heard his music.  Jobim’s songs, such as The Girl from Ipanema, were made famous by Frank Sinatra and continue as beloved standards today.
