Adapted from The Miser by Molière
Book and Lyrics by Ricky Graham and Sean Patterson,
Music by Jefferson Turner
An all-new musical that brings Molière into the swinging '60s!
New Orleans’ own Ricky Graham brings to the Loyola stage The Money Box, an exciting and all new musical adaptation of Moliere’s The Miser.
Midas Harpagon is the notoriously stingy owner of the Bourbon Street club, The Money Box. His lively children long to escape his control and marry the lovers of their choice. Will love (or the love of money) prevail? This musical updating of Molière’s The Miser, is set in New Orleans in the swingin’ 1960s.
The Money Box is sure to be a foot stomping evening in Loyola’s Marquette Theatre with original script and music by Sean Patterson, Ricky Graham, and Jefferson Turner.
