The Jesuit Social Research Institute invites Loyola faculty, staff and students to an Anti-racism Workshop scheduled for Feb. 7-8. The workshop, featuring co-facilitators from the Pax Christi USA Anti-Racism Team, aims to:

- Explore a faith-based understanding of anti-racism rooted in Scripture and Catholic Social Teaching;

- Introduce definitions of racism that will enable us individually and together to dismantle racism in our structures and culture;

- Present a critical analysis of the "powers" of racism; and

- Explore concrete ways that faculty, staff, and students can become more anti-racist and multi-cultural.

Requirement of Registration and Information

Contact Jennifer Price to RSVP by 4 p.m. Jan. 23.  The only requirement of the workshop is that participants commit themselves to participate fully in the 1.5 day process Feb. 7-8. Do not sign up for the workshop if you cannot attend both Friday and Saturday. Contact Alex Mikulich for questions about the workshop.
