Step-N-Tone

Time: 12 pm to 1 pm

Step-n-Tone is a one hour class that covers all the components of a complete workout – cardio, strength training, balance and flexibility.  And the step makes it easy for all levels to work out together from beginner to expert.  No judging here - come out for some faith, fun and fitness with friends!

Body Pump

If you're looking to build strength, get lean and toned and work all major muscles groups, then BodyPUMP is right for you! 

Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition (think 850-1100 reps a class!), BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned fitness professional, BodyPUMP will challenge you, and give you the confidence and encouragement to come back for more. BollyX Cardio Dance Class

Boot Camp

Get in shape “boot camp” style! Experience high-intensity, full-body workouts that target the major muscle groups of the upper & lower body, specifically designed to “make it rain” sweat! From circuit-style routines that jump-start cardio fitness, to creative muscle-toning exercises using dumbbells, exercise bands, or even the participant’s body weight, each class brings its own unique challenges. No two classes are the same! Students will work the quarter to improve cardiovascular stamina, core strength, & flexibility.

Aqua Zumba

We're bringing the party to the pool! Salsa, Merengue, Reggaeton, Soca and Cumbia all done in the water. 

Have you wanted to try a dance workout like Zumba but were shy of how you might look or think you can't dance? Maybe you just don't know where to start your fitness journey or have been out of it for a while due to health issues.

This class is for you:

You’ll be using the properties of the water to whip yourself back into shape while having the most fun. (And no need to feel funny no mirrors here and body is partially submerged)

Yoga (Iyengar)

A form of Hatha Yoga, Iyengar Yoga focuses on the structural alignment of the body through the practice of asanas, or poses. The aim is to unite the body, mind and spirit for health and well-being. Yoga increases strength, balance, and flexibility, and can be done by anyone of any age or body type.  This is a progressive class, in that we will add more advanced poses over time.  This is a Level I-II Class that can benefit beginners as well as yoga practitioners at all levels.

In celebration of National "Get Fit, Don't Sit Day," and to conclude the semester long Loyola Get Fit Pledge, there will be a field day! Come out and enjoy all of your classic favorite field day games such as sack race, three-legged race, water guns and water balloons, tug-of-war, and more! Finish the semester strong with finals, but not before unleashing your inner kid again! 

Zumba

Zumba ® is a dance fitness class. My main goal is our wellness. My classes are fun and energetic, as well as comprehensive workouts. We work different muscle groups with each world rhythm. My motto is ‘respect and listen to your body’. You don’t need to be a dancer, all you need is the desire to be healthy. At the end, looking good is a reflection of wellness and smile is the bast sexy! Join our Zumba Fitness® party!
