Panelist will discuss the Equal Pay Act that would guarantee women the right to equal pay. Further, they'll examine the history of the pay gap in America and where we stand now.

From Good Girls to "Real" Criminals

Jill McCorkel, Ph.D.  will be discussing her recent book: "Breaking Women: Gender, Race, and the New Politics of Imprisonment." Her ethnography of a women's prison examines the results of the drug war, which has increased the incarceration of women and changed the way in which women are punished.
